Kristy Kainrath, MBA is a strategic thinker known for her passion to help others be their best selves through awareness and purpose. A coach for busy executives, she enjoys helping leaders realize their full potential in their profession and their life balance.
Kristy worked for 16 years for a large medical device firm within the Ascension Health family. As Chief Strategy Officer, she was responsible for strategic direction and market expansion. Under her leadership, the organization grew from $8m to $650m and held no debt. Her areas of responsibility included R&D, product development, IT, marketing, and international operations.
With a heart for healthcare equity across the globe, Kristy is sought after for her ability to forge relationships with and speak on issues for global health organizations. She has worked with the World Health Organization, India Ministry of Health, Shanghai Department of Health, and England’s National Health Service. She also enjoys meeting with senators and representatives in Washington DC and advocating for increased research funding for pancreatic cancer. Today, she serves as a board member for TriMedx Foundation and as a faculty partner for Butler University’s Executive Education program.
One to never stop learning, Kristy holds a Bachelor of Science from Purdue University, a Master’s in Business Administration from Butler University, completed the executive development program through Legacy Alliance, sat on Ascension Health’s Leadership Community Council, and completed training to become a National Baldrige Performance Excellence examiner.
Kristy lives in central Indiana with her husband and four daughters. When she is not working, watching her daughters play sports, or driving a child to practice; she enjoys family vacations, hiking, and fishing.
