Dr. William Kent has been working in healthcare as a clinician, executive, consultant, and coach for 30 years. He utilizes this experience and knowledge in his work as an executive coach and consultant today to help executives realize their full potential. He believes the mission-oriented work of healthcare is both a leadership challenge and an opportunity.

The leadership skills that include self awareness and awareness of others become more important as the individual moves up the organizational chart. It is also the leadership areas that limit a leader's effectiveness and career mobility.

What Inspires Bill: The commitment and effort leaders put forth for their organizations and the stakeholders of those organizations, including the employees. "The great majority of leaders I have worked with are very committed to the mission of their organization and the people who are trying to accomplish that mission.
